Into the West
"Why do you weep? What are these tears upon your face? Soon you will see all of your fears will pass away. Safe in my arms, you're only sleeping..." ~Into the West, LotR

'Cause my Dad does things like that...

So this morning, Daddy's taking Nathaniel to school, me to work, and Mom to a Dr.'s appointment. We're driving down the road, and we see this big, beautiful golden retriever-type dog loping down the street. He's just kind of wandering around aimlessly, so my Daddy pulls over and gets out, calling the dog over to him. He comes, very obedient, and Dad checks his collar for a number. Well, all the license had was the license number and the county phone number, and the dog looks lost. So Daddy piles him into the car. He called and found the owner, who is at work and lives two miles away. Right about now, we have a tiny Skipper, and even tinier Teddi Bear, and a huge Mickey. It's quite a contrast. He's a very well-behaved, well-trained, good dog. And apparently we have him until this evening. Daddy said, "It's what I would hope someone would do for me if they saw our poodles wandering down the street."
