A Royal Proclamation
*trumpet fanfare*
Hear ye, Hear ye:
Let it be known throughout the land to both serf and freeman, both peasant and lord, that this twenty-fourth day of May, in the year of our Lord two thousand and five, is hereby declared a royal holiday. Let all take occasion to celebrate the wonder of this day of days, this same day on which, twenty-three years past, a paragon of beauty, virtue, and kindness was born unto us, the citizens of Goochdom. Her name shall go down in the annals of history as Lady Kathryn the Brave, the True, the Good, the Just, and the Wise.
Let the bards sing and the young men and women dance. Let all make merry to celebrate so joyous a day. May all the blessings of our Lord in Heaven be upon this peerless maiden.
Long live Lady Kathryn of Goochmeister!
